Save Vancouver Dispensaries – Protest at City Hall – February 1st, 2019

POT TV – Why do people still have to beg for medicine after “legalization?”

It’s worth repeating. Why do people still have to beg for medicine after “legalization?” Legal. Illegal. What difference does it make when you’re in pain?

Despite clear evidence presented to the Mayor’s Special Overdose Task Force that dispensaries save lives, the City of Vancouver is forcing the closure of dispensaries. Hours of emotional testimony begged the City to increase easy access to safe medicine. Medical patient Haley Rose pleaded from her wheelchair. “Please don’t shut down the clubs where I have access to medication I need.”

The City is proceeding in forced shutdowns.

The jig is up, and there’s nowhere left to go, other than City Hall.
