Drug Enforcement Administration Assistant Special Agent in Charge Gordon Taylor said Friday afternoon that a task force involving the DEA, the IRS and the U.S. Attorney's Office has been formed to investigate 20 pot homes in Stockton and 21 pot homes in Sacramento County. When a Modesto marijuana medicinal facility was raided this week, it led to the arrests of four people for allegedly selling pot to people who weren't sick.About 30 people picketed in protest outside the Modesto Police Department Friday, calling it unfair that a medicinal facility be shut down. http://www.news10.net/storyfull2.aspx?storyid=20373

A Boulder city councilman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, the city announced Tuesday.Richard Polk, 57, was stopped Monday night near the Pearl Street Mall. (CBS4) DENVER The latest CBS4 News/Rocky Mountain News poll showed a small majority of registered voters in Colorado were against legalizing small amounts of marijuana.Fifty-three percent of those questioned said they're against Amendment 44 which would make one ounce or less of pot legal to possess. A SWAT team raided a Tomah drug house last night and found more than a hundred marijuana plants in the basement.Monroe County Sheriffs, and the Sparta and Tomah police departments broke into a home on Eureka Road just after 8 p.m. last night.
