FORT WORTH -- A Fort Worth middle school teacher spoke out on Friday after police said they caught him in a school zone with a pile of marijuana -- some of it ready for sale. Jahmal Clark spoke with NBC 5's Kristi Nelson right after he was released from the Tarrant County Jail. He said he wanted to make it clear that he loved being a teacher and never sold drugs to children. Clark was arrested two days ago just blocks from the school where he worked. "This is a mistake that a man in a financial bind made," he said. "It was just a bad situation and a bad decision.

WASHINGTON -- The war of words in the nation's battle over medical marijuana use escalated Wednesday with television star power squaring off against federal health officials. Television talk show host Montel Williams, who uses pot to treat the debilitating pain of multiple sclerosis, joined Bay Area activist Angel Raich, Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), Rep. A court in Bali has adjourned the trial of Australian woman Schapelle Corby due to illness. At a brief appearance this afternoon, Corby told her judges she is suffering from diarrhoea and an upset stomach. The chief judge, Linton Sirait, told her she should try to keep in good health and not to stress in order to cope with the trial. Prosecutors had intended to put forward recommendations for sentencing today, if Corby is found guilty but the trial has now been adjourned until Thursday next week.
