These are the images at war in The Hemp Revolution, an ambitious low budget documentary that aspires to be the celluloid equivalent of Jack Herer’s The Emperor Wears No Clothes. This is a very informative and enjoyable movie.

This 1942 re-discovered classic was made by the USDA to teach farmers how to grow hemp for fiber again, after it had been prohibited in the decade prior, but World War II cut off foreign sources of fiber and the US had to turn back to industrial hemp. thanks xipperhead
