Like other places, Detroit is seeing legal cannabis prices fall lower and lower.
What no journalist ever asks is simple: What other crops do people pay so much for, and why? If grapes were ten dollars a gram, or more, what would happen to the price and supply of wine?
As long as the market is based on prohibition, the price will always be too high.
