POT TV – Guns & Gadgets 2nd Amendment News reported on United States law enforcement agencies and a government agent being sued over restrictions preventing medical cannabis patients from owning firearms.
Washington State-based legal organization, the Second Amendment Foundation, has filed a lawsuit against the United Stated Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Attorney General Merrick Garland.
The suit alleges United States government agencies unfairly and unlawfully prohibit firearm ownership to qualified medical marijuana patients, despite 36 US States allowing some form of medical marijuana, and cannabis’ long history in America predating firearm regulation.
