Michigan marijuana prisoner, Michael Thompson, has been freed after serving over 25 years of his sentence, reported ABC13.
A fundraising campaign has been organized for Thompson’s life after release, and well-wishers can contact Michael via the Grassroots Law Project.
About his charges, Thompson told FOX17. “I wasn’t no bad guy … 3 pounds of marijuana. Who did that hurt?”
Michael also expressed passion to free others, and change corrupt drug laws.
