It's marijuana harvest season. Of course, law enforcement knows that, but so does the U.S. Post Office. In the last two days, postal authorities have seized over a ton of pot. Over 2 million pieces of mail go thru the processing and distribution center at the CherryBelle station every day. Among those, packages marked "Parcel Post" or "Priority Mail." Postal Inspector Jim Harper says, "It's alleged 90% of all drugs coming into the country are coming from Southern Arizona. Obviously, a lot of that moves through the mail."

Authorities say 33-year-old Senorita Walker is a special education teacher at a high school on the city's South Side. The breakthrough comes after researchers found that smoking marijuana triggered a "switch" in the brain that made the smoker get the "munchies." That led scientists to theorize the two urges were linked through the same regulatory system.
