POT TV - Conservative Canadian television network Sun News reports on Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau's recent comments about marijuana, which reinforce his support for full legalization instead of decriminalization. "I'm in favour of legalizing it. Tax it, regulate it. It's one of the only ways to keep it out of the hands of our kids because the current war on drugs, the current model is not working. We have to use evidence and science to make sure that we're moving forward on that." But will you campaign on it Justin? We hope so!

The federal government has consistently overreached in their efforts to block medical marijuana research. To even begin to study a research group will require a license from the DEA, which is virtually impossible; and then, of course, the researcher needs a legal marijuana source. The DEA also consistently refuses to grant even temporary licenses to allow legal marijuana imports for medical research. At the same time, those same gatekeepers keep repeating the mantra that there is, today, insufficient research and study to meet the FDA's standards for drug approval.
