Rastafarians Bust Bahama Marijuana Bill

POT TV – ZNSNetwork reported on 11 proposed cannabis legalization bills.

Draft legislation for bills related to medical and spiritual cultivation, processing and use of marijuana in the Bahamas was revealed. The bills reportedly included THC potency limits, as well as a governing body, the Cannabis Authority.

Local Rastafarians criticized their lack of inclusion in the draft process, and the continued prohibition approach to legal weed.

The draft bill is reported to exclude those with existing cannabis criminal records from entering the legal sector, and tightly restricting legal consumption locations.

“It’s just how you will be charged. It’s the only thing that’s changed.”
