A jeering crowd called police officers ‘murderers’ and ‘thieves’.

Police raided and towed a harm-reduction emergency vehicle in Vancouver’s Downtown East Side, The Cannabis Substitution Project.

The CSP distributes low-cost and no-cost cannabis as an alternative, safer drug choice for those addicted to deadly drugs, sick without means, or in withdrawal. The program is widely supported by local politicians, researchers and the community.
