Though cannabis sales have been legal at a state-level for years, there hasn’t been any legal place to consume cannabis in Denver.
NBC reported on new licenses allowing cannabis consumption, which are vital to safe access, but didn’t ask why people are still being arrested over weed in the first place. If it’s really legal, lounges should be as easy to open as a coffee shop.
