Why do pot protests need to continue after your state or country “legalizes”? Continued arrests and penalties for being peaceful with pot. “Legal” is only a word if peaceful plant people are still being attacked and harassed.
As New Jersey moves further into “legalization”, home gardens are still illegal, and the law’s design will continue arrests for violating possession, consumption and sale regulations designed to favor large, rich interests over individual rights. But New Jersey activists are fighting for change through legislation and education.
