The New York Cannabis Parade protest continued in 2021, reported Green Market Report.
With recent State-level legalization, New York joined much of the United States in allowing further cannabis access, in violation of Federal law. A parade of peaceful protestors walked through the street, with police escort, celebrating, smoking and speaking about the need to further reform drug laws, expunge criminal records and release drug war prisoners.
One parade attendee told POT TV. “It’s a start, but there should be no penalty for pot whatsoever. We’re peaceful. Look at the parade.”
