POT TV – The trailer for “Pot Luck: The Altered State of Colorado“.
Directed by Jane Wells, “Pot Luck: The Altered State of Colorado“, followed a variety Colorado residents, asking them about what the US State’s move to legalize marijuana has meant to them, and what it means amid a current federal prohibition.
Wells interviewed a wide array of characters in Colorado cannabis, a bud-tender, farmer, store operator, drug addiction councilor, anti-cannabis pastor, police officer, and many others, but found the best description of Colorado’s current quasi-legal status from a hemp farmer, Michael Bowman. Bowman correctly identified the split being at the choice of prohibition, either relying on old fuel or new fuel, a new future.
Pot Luck doesn’t blaze much new ground, and allows the myth of marijuana’s inherent evilness to linger, but is highly enjoyable.
