POT TV – David Eby is the second MLA this month to avoid protesters demanding action on overdose deaths.
In a near repeat of the scene at Adrian Dix’s office one week earlier, MLA David Eby closed his office, on June 26th, during posted open hours, avoiding a discussion with protesters about action on the overdose crisis. Eby was scheduled at another event, but his office was locked, with not even reception staff available to receive comment.
Protesters demanded an end to continued prohibition policies, and a safe drug supply.
Organizers vowed to continuing office occupations of MLAs.
