Kern County Board of Supervisors will be voting on the approval of medical marijuana cards for residents on Tuesday.
A new program, Medical Marijuana Identification Card Program, will issue identification cards to qualified patients and allows them to grow, smoke and transport small amounts of pot for medical purposes.
