Newshawks: Australian convicted of drug smuggling in Bali

Pressure continues to mount on Australia’s government now that an Indonesian court has sentenced an Australian woman to 20 years in jail for smuggling drugs.

Schapelle Corby, 27, was handed the sentence on Thursday in Bali.

Throughout her trial, the beautician student has insisted she is innocent. Corby claims her luggage was tampered with after she was arrested last October with 4.1 kg of marijuana.
