Members of the Illinois Marijuana Party took their message to the front doors of the Tazewell County courthouse.
They rallied in support of a fellow pro-pot activist during his first court appearance.
Reverend Joe Johnson was arrested for possession of marijuana during a routine traffic stop.
He pleaded not guilty today.
The group says people who use the drug shouldn`t be prosecuted… and they say they`ll fight for the rights of users and growers alike. The group`s “No Jail for Pot tour” is scheduled to last through the summer.
