In order to escape a court imposed deadline Ottawa says it will temporarily allow people to obtain marijuana for medical reasons while the federal government appeals an Ontario court decision over how it distributes the plant. Plus U.S. deputy drug czar, Barry Crane, is in Ottawa with the same old “We are not going to tell you what to do, but this is what we want you to do and this is what we are going to do to you if you don’t do it”.
