CBC News: Pot Protesters Crash Dispensary Opening, Give Away Free Joints

POT TV – CBC News spoke with protestors outside a legal cannabis dispensary in Saskatoon, SK.

“Today we’re down here protesting the opening of the Tweed corporate store … that used to be a medical cannabis dispensary.” Sterling Wilde told CBC News.

Offering free joints that will ‘actually get you high,’ protestors spoke to people outside the store, and police officers who arrived to ask questions. The officers did not receive free joints.

Despite a recent claim by Canopy CEO Bruce Linton that non-commercial weed could have fentanyl in it, and that smoking weed isn’t a good idea anyway, protestors handed out safe, free cannabis for over 2 hours (part one, part two).

Many medical dispensaries across the country have been closed by police in favor of limited recreational stores.
