The Grasstown Smoke-In was a peaceful show of collective freedom. The event swelled from a number of activists demanding their right to use cannabis into thousands of people celebrating in a park, and police attacked. Unlike riots fueled by alcohol, cannabis-centered events are typically peaceful.
