Sheriff’s Dispatcher Faces Drug Charges

A woman who works in the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office as the head dispatcher is accused helping organize a major marijuana deal, officials told News 4 WOAI Monday.

Barbara Villarreal, a long time county employee, was taken into custody this past weekend. Investigators claim Villarreal used her job to reveal undercover drug officers and pass that information onto her neighbors. Those men, Rojelio Cuevas and Santos Martinez, were suspected of dealing drugs and taken into custody with Villarreal, officials said.
