Kelly Johnston was accused of chaining her 15-year-old daughter to her bed last March after she accused of daughter of stealing marijuana from her.
As part of a deal, Johnston pleaded no contest to the charges. Friday a judge told Johnston, “This is not an appropriate case for straight probation” and sentenced her to three years in prison plus three years on probation — but then offered her a second chance.
