Hundreds of marijuana plants found in police raid

Police raided a Markham home on Thursday and found an elaborate marijuana grow operation that was producing approximately $800,000 worth of the illegal crop every year.

A convoy of police vehicles drove to a home at 92 Timbers Circle on Thursday. Officers broke through the front door with guns drawn, shouting “search warrant.” They searched room to room for anyone who may have been there.
