The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the Jefferson County sheriff’s office discovered more than 1,000 marijuana plants growing indoors in a high-tech operation adjacent to and behind a rural house west of Fayette. The house is near the Natchez Trace Parkwayk, just off Freeman Road in rural Jefferson County, about three miles from Fayette.
