A man will not face murder charges for allegedly setting up a basement marijuana-growing operation that overheated and started a blaze that killed two firefighters. A judge on Tuesday dismissed third-degree homicide charges against Daniel Brough, saying prosecutors didn’t show he expected to kill or injure anyone when he set up high-powered lights and a system of fans to help grow the plants.
