What was slated as a peaceful pot protest at Queen’s Park Saturday afternoon soon became a clash with police. Authorities came in and shut down the rally when Toronto organizers failed to produce the necessary permits and insurance. That led to a scuffle between participants and officers, and at least two people were detained for breach of peace.
