POT TV – Selected highlights from the Standing Committee on Health’s Hearings of the Cannabis Act.
Day five of the Canadian HESA hearings was incredible. After four days of mostly reefer madness and uninformed views on cannabis’s dangers, day five opened and closed with a bang. Dana Larsen, the director of Sensible BC, opened the day blasting the committee for its misguided approach to legalization, Jodie and Marc Emery left staffers speechless with the their passionate, no-nonsense account of what real legalization would entail, and the day closed with MP Don Davies demanding the rights of average Canadians.
Lawyer Kirk Tousaw also fielded questions on day four about border travel, international treaties and charter challenges.
